My New Years day activity including watching Bruce Springsteen perform a show on Broadway. He presented himself as a healthy, well aged, likeable man. He told a story of an ordinary life, with extraordinary details. He brought to life some stories of his childhood, his love of his dad, his burning passion to play music and amuse people.
He brought my friend and I to tears as he reminisced about some childhood musings , recalling special times with his parents. He spoke of love, not just a simple minded love, but of moments in time, of trees, water, adventures, travel, music.
This show was inspirational to me as a musician and is helping me to refocus life for myself in 2019. did I say that???
